A brief history of PPB at Cirad

This history of Participatory Plant Breeding (PPB) at Cirad does not claim to be exhaustive. Composed in September 2001 at a time when practice was considered more essential than the study of this practice, this paper sparked off a controversy at the very heart of the institution.

The paper deserves to be updated (and translated into English), which we will be sure to do in the near future.
